Tuesday evening saw us play a local derby at home against Nuffield.
Weather conditions were near perfect and our green had been mown thus removing tree debris leaving it in great condition and running well.
The first four on gave us 3 winners. Well done to Sybil in particular who won her match, which had been nip and tuck all the way through, by 21 points to 20. The other 2 wins were quite convincing and put Heaton in a good position as the second four started their matches.
There were a further 3 winners for Heaton against some really tough opponents and again, some convincing wins.
Great support from non players, friends and family yet again, another enjoyable evening of bowling and a fantastic win, 8 - 2, which puts Heaton top of the league!
